For the Love of Laundry is the only company in Singapore to clean purely with GreenEarth, a toxin-free technology that is better for you, your clothes and the environment. We use an all-natural liquid silicone that gently rejuvenates the most delicate fabrics, making your clothes feel cleaner, look better and last longer.

Kindly take note that all items are subject to up-charges.

All prices stated are inclusive of GST. Folded shirts will incur an extra charge of $0.50 each. Handwashed items will be charged at dry cleaning price. In the absence of specific cleaning instructions, items will be cleaned according to their care label instructions. All items are subject to up-charges. Items of the same category may differ in price due to different dimensions. Certain items, inclusive but not limited to carpets, curtains, sofa covers, duvets and leather items, may require more than 4 working days to be processed. All orders are subject to our full terms and conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Kindly read our full terms and conditions before entrusting your items to us. Handing your items to For the Love of Laundry by yourself or an appointed person will be taken as your acknowledgment and acceptance of our full terms and conditions.

COUNT AND INSPECTION

It is your responsibility to count the number of items that you hand over to us for cleaning. Before your items are handed to us, easily removed accessories and ornamental items should be detached. If they are not removed, we will exercise our discretion to remove them. There is no guarantee that we will discover all detachable items and will not be responsible for any missing detachable items not highlighted to us. You must also inspect the condition of the items that we return to you. In the event that you are unable to hand or receive your items to us personally, you may appoint a person to do so on your behalf.

CLEANING

In the absence of your specific instructions, items will be cleaned according to their care label instructions. We reserve the right to exercise our discretion when cleaning your items. Synthetic leather items are prone to bubbling and/or tearing after cleaning, particularly in areas exposed to frequent movement and friction. Leather, fur or suede clothing have inherent flaws. We will endeavour to highlight this to you prior to cleaning these items. However, the cleaning of such items may cause such flaws to become more apparent. We are not responsible if this occurs, whether or not we have highlighted these flaws to you. Curtains and sofa covers may have a probability of shrinkage after cleaning. We are unable to determine if this will happen or the extent of shrinkage should it happen. This is a natural reaction as certain fabrics are not pre-shrunk and we will not be liable for such situations as it is not within our control.

STAINS

There is no guarantee that stains can be removed. There is also no guarantee that we can discover all stains. We are not responsible for any stains that we do not discover and highlight to you. If we discover such stains we reserve the right not to clean the items until we get your consent. If we discover such stains, we may also for whatever reason, proceed to clean the items without your consent. Even if the stains are not removed completely, you will still have to pay the cleaning charges for the item.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

a. You shall give us written notice of any issues in relation to items sent to us for our services via email to help@fortheloveoflaundry.com within five(5) calendar days from the day such items are collected and/or delivered to you. You are to return the alleged damaged item to us immediately thereafter for our inspection of the same.
b. In the event that we do not receive any written notice of the same within the time stipulated herein, it shall be deemed that you have accepted the item(s) as collected and/or delivered to you and you shall not have any further claim against us whatsoever.
c. In the event that we accept liability for a missing or damaged item(s) whilst such item(s) was/were under our possession and control, it is hereby agreed between the parties herein that our liability shall NOT exceed ten(10) times the amount charged by us for cleaning the said item(s).
d. Further, any damaged item for which we have accepted liability shall be retained by us upon settlement of the claim.

TERMS FOR DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

Our service fee for picking up your items and sending them back to you is S$9. This fee will be waived for orders S$50 and above. If you are on a corporate partnership programme, the delivery fee and terms may differ. Kindly refer to your HR department for more information. If you find it necessary to cancel or reschedule the time slot allocated, you must notify For the Love of Laundry no less than 24 hours before the agreed time. If we receive less than 24 hours’ notice and we show up to collect or deliver your items, and are unable to reach you, you will be charged a transportation fee for the rescheduled delivery. We are not responsible or liable if we are for reasons beyond our control, unable to return your items or collect your items for cleaning within the specified time slot. In the event that we need to reschedule, we will notify you of the rescheduled date and time. If your items are not collected after thirty (30) days from our first call, we reserve the right to donate the items to a charity of our choice.

PAYMENT

Unless you have registered your credit card with us, terms of payment are on cash on delivery basis and items will only be released upon full payment.
