For the Love of Laundry is the only company in Singapore to clean purely with GreenEarth, a toxin-free technology that is better for you, your clothes and the environment. We use an all-natural liquid silicone that gently rejuvenates the most delicate fabrics, making your clothes feel cleaner, look better and last longer.

Kindly take note that all items are subject to up-charges.

All prices stated are inclusive of GST. Folded shirts will incur an extra charge of $0.50 for each item. Pressing only available at 70% of Dry Cleaning price. Handwashed items will be charged at dry cleaning price. In the absence of specific cleaning instructions, items will be cleaned according to their care label instructions. In the absence of specific cleaning instructions and where the care label is missing, removed or worn out such that the instructions cannot be clearly ascertained, items will be cleaned by way of dry cleaning. All items are subject to up-charges, where applicable. Cleaning charges for items under the same category may differ due to differences in dimensions. Certain household items, including but not limited to carpets, curtains, sofa covers, duvets and leather items, may require more than the standard cleaning time of four (4) working days to be processed and cleaned. All orders are subject to the terms and conditions set out and/or available at this page (as the case may be).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Kindly read these terms and conditions in full before submitting an order.

In these terms and conditions, “we” refers to For the Love of Laundry Pte. Ltd. (and references to “us” and “our” shall be construed accordingly), and “you” refers to our customer (and, where applicable, their appointed persons) (and references to “your” shall be construed accordingly).

These terms and conditions are applicable to every order which is submitted to us by you. Handing your items to us by you will be taken as your irrevocable acknowledgment and acceptance of our terms and conditions set out herein.

1. COUNT AND INSPECTION

It is your responsibility to count the number of items that you hand over to us for cleaning. Before your item(s) are handed to us, easily removed accessories and ornamental components should be detached. If they are not removed, we are entitled to exercise our discretion in removing such detachable accessories and/or ornamental components (including buttons and drawstrings). There is no guarantee that we will discover all detachable accessories and/or ornamental components and will not be responsible for any loss or damage to detachable accessories and/or ornamental components which have not been highlighted to us in the order form. You must also inspect the condition of the item(s) that we return to you. In the event that you are unable to hand your item(s) to us personally or collect the said item(s) after cleaning, you may appoint a person to do so on your behalf by presenting the Customer Order Form, Invoice or other prescribed documents (as may be applicable) to us.

2. CLEANING

We are only required to provide our services after an order has been accepted. 

In the absence of your specific instructions, items will be cleaned according to their care label instructions. In the absence of specific cleaning instructions and where the care label is missing, removed or worn out such that the instructions cannot be clearly ascertained, items will be cleaned by way of dry cleaning. 

We reserve the right to exercise our discretion to exercise precautions when cleaning your items. PLEASE NOTE THAT synthetic leather items are prone to bubbling and/or tearing after cleaning, particularly in areas exposed to frequent movement and friction. Leather, fur or suede clothing have inherent flaws. We will endeavour to highlight this to you prior to cleaning these items. However, the cleaning of such items may cause such flaws to manifest or become more apparent. We are not responsible if this occurs, whether or not we have highlighted these flaws to you. Curtains and sofa covers may have a probability of shrinkage after cleaning. We are unable to determine if this will happen or the extent of shrinkage should it happen. This is a natural reaction as certain fabrics are not pre-shrunk during the manufacturing process and we will not be liable for such situations as it is not within our control.

3. STAINS

There is no guarantee that stains can be removed. There is also no guarantee that we can discover all stains which have not been highlighted to us. Even if any stains (including those highlighted to us) are not removed completely, you will still have to pay the full cleaning charges for the relevant item. 

We are not responsible for any stains that we do not discover and highlight to you. If we discover such stains that are not highlighted to us, we reserve the right not to clean the items until we get your consent. If we discover such stains that are not highlighted to us, we may also, if we deem fit, in our sole discretion, proceed to clean such items without your consent.

4. DISCLAIMERS OF LIABILITY

Without prejudice to Clause 5 and Clause 11 in these Terms and Conditions, you irrevocably agree that we shall only be liable for any loss or damage caused to your item(s) arising from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. In making an order, you irrevocably agree to indemnify and hold us harmless in respect of any claims made against us (in any form) relating to any defects or damage to your item(s):

a. Which have not been highlighted to us in writing on our Customer Order Form; or

b. Arising from the provision of services in which you have engaged us to provide.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

a. You shall give us written notice of any issues in relation to item(s) sent to us for our services via email to help@fortheloveoflaundry.com within five (5) calendar days from the day such items are collected and/or delivered to you. You are to return the item(s) in question to us immediately thereafter for our inspection of the same.
b. In the event that we do not receive any written notice of the same within the time stipulated herein, it shall be deemed that you have accepted the item(s) as collected and/or delivered to you in satisfactory condition and you shall not have any further claim against us whatsoever in respect of such item(s) and the services provided in relation to such item(s).
c. In the event that we accept liability for any missing or damaged item(s) whilst such item(s) was/were under our possession and control, you hereby irrevocably agree that our aggregate liability in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with such item(s) shall NOT exceed an amount which is: (i) ten (10) times the amount charged for our services; or (ii) S$300.00, whichever is lower. This may be in the form of cash or credits or a combination of both, at our discretion. Further, any claim shall be substantiated with a proof of purchase such as receipt, documenting the date of purchase and value of purchase. 

6. PRICES

All fees and charges for our services shall be as set out in the price list. We reserve the right to amend the price list from time to time, which shall apply to any orders made by you and accepted by us after such amendment.

7. CORPORATE PROGRAMMES

Customers on corporate partnership programmes with us may be subject to different price lists as agreed with us from time to time. Kindly refer to the relevant department within your company for more information.

8. TERMS FOR DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

If you find it necessary to cancel or reschedule the time slot allocated, you must notify us through your account on our online application at app.fortheloveoflaundry.com or other mobile application(s), our customer service number at 6265 1110, our WhatsApp number at +65 9648 0854, or our customer service email address at help@forthelovoflaundry.com no less than 48 hours before the agreed time for self-collection or delivery. In the event that we receive less than 48 hours’ notice in relation to a cancellation or rescheduling of your allocated time slot, or in the event that you do not show up for the self-collection or are not reachable for delivery at your allocated time slot, you will be charged an additional no-show fee for the rescheduled self-collection or delivery. We shall also not be held responsible or liable for any failure to collect or deliver your items within the allocated time slot due to any occurrence of circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the event that we need to reschedule, we will notify you of the rescheduled date and time as soon as practicable. If your items are not collected after 30 calendar days from the date of our first attempt to contact you by way of telephone call, WhatsApp or email, we reserve the right (and you are deemed to have granted us the right) to dispose and/or deal with the items as we deem fit, including donating the items to a charity of our choice.

9. PAYMENT

Payment is due upon self-collection or delivery of your cleaned item(s). Unless you have registered your credit card with us, you will have to make full payment of our charges and fees by way of cash, PayNow or such other payment methods as we may prescribe from time to time, upon self-collection or delivery of your cleaned items. In the event that you opt for self-collection, you may also pay using Nets, GrabPay, credit cards (or such other payment methods as we may prescribe from time to time) at our outlets. For the avoidance of doubt, the cleaned item(s) will only be released to you upon full payment of our charges and fees.

10. SEVERANCE

If any Clause of these Terms and Conditions or part thereof is rendered void, illegal or unenforceable by any legislation to which it is subject, it shall be rendered void, illegal or unenforceable to that extent and it shall in no way affect or prejudice the enforceability of the remainder of such Clause or the other Clauses of these Terms and Conditions.

11. SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY

To the extent permissible under the laws of Singapore, the remedies available you and us shall be limited to the remedies set out in these Terms and Conditions.

12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions, our Customer Order Form, Invoice and all other documents expressly stated to apply to an order collectively constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect of the subject matter hereof and supersede all other agreements and/or understandings, both written and oral, between you and us with respect of the subject matter hereof.

13. PRIVACY POLICY

Our Privacy Policy, as may be amended as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted from time to time, is incorporated by reference into and forms part of these Terms and Conditions and shall apply to all personal data that you provide to us or that we have obtained from any other sources or that arises from your relationship with us or any of our affiliates. If you provide us with the personal data of any individual (other than your own, if you yourself are an individual), you hereby consent on behalf of that individual whose personal data you provide, to our collection, use, disclosure and processing of his/her personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions and for the purposes thereof. You warrant that you have obtained that individual’s prior consent to such collection, use, disclosure and processing of his/her personal data by us and that the personal data that you provide to us is true, accurate and complete.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Singapore. In relation to any legal action or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, both you and us hereby irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Singapore, and irrevocably waives any objection on the grounds of forum non conveniens.
